During National Training Week (NTW) 2025, Simia Business Development delivered eight impactful training sessions that brought together over 220 participants from across Malaysia. In-Person Experiences: Real-Time Leadership in Action
Two of the eight sessions were conducted face-to-face in Kuala Lumpur, offering hands-on, immersive learning through:
- The Organisation Workshop – A Live Demo of Systems, Roles & Real-World Leadership (24 June 2025)
This simulation-based workshop placed participants in realistic organisational roles to explore the dynamics of systems, power, and leadership. Attendees experienced first-hand the impact of structure, communication, and role clarity which are critical elements in any Manager Development Course. The highly engaging format encouraged reflective learning and collaboration, making systems thinking tangible for leaders at all levels. - Creative Thinking & Problem Solving with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (17 June 2025)
In this interactive session, participants used LEGO bricks to explore professional identity and creativity, and shared team insights. It demonstrated how Soft Skills and Communication Training can be both innovative and deeply impactful. By working with metaphors and shared storytelling, attendees gained clarity around problem-solving approaches and team alignment, skills increasingly valued in leadership development.

Live Online Workshops: Reaching Leaders Nationwide
Six sessions were delivered online, making training accessible to professionals from various industries and locations. These sessions focused on communication, coaching, psychological safety, and performance capabilities for effective management.

- Coaching Leadership – Empowering Teams Through Conversations That Matter
(Delivered on both 19 June and 25 June)
This session equipped managers with coaching frameworks such as GROW and SPIKES to support performance conversations and team empowerment. These highly rated sessions reinforced the need for developmental dialogue as a core leadership competency. - Speak Up! – Building Confidence and Breaking Barriers to Voice at Work
(Delivered on 12 June and 18 June)
Focused on psychological safety and inclusive communication, this workshop helped participants create safer environments for feedback, ideas, and dissent. It aligned with Simia’s long-term focus on Soft Skills and Communication Training and building high-performing, resilient teams. - Tracking Success – High Performance in a Constantly Changing Environment (20 June)
This session introduced tools for navigating change and tracking strategic progress. Participants were guided through reflection and planning exercises to ensure alignment with business goals and people outcomes, all integral aspects of modern Business Management Training Programs. - Building Trust & Psychological Safety – Foundations for High-Performing Teams (26 June)
One of the most attended and anticipated sessions, this workshop emphasised the relational and systemic aspects of trust at work. Participants explored root causes of mistrust, committed to action, and connected the dots between interpersonal safety and team performance.

Expanding Access to HRDF-Claimable Training in Malaysia
All sessions were offered at no cost under the National Training Week 2025 initiative, providing a valuable opportunity for professionals across Malaysia to engage with HRDF-Claimable Training content. By blending theory with practice, each session reflected Simia’s belief in making impactful leadership training accessible and actionable.
Whether through in-person simulations or virtual workshops, participants left with practical strategies they could immediately apply in their teams and organisations.
